Honey has been used since ancient times by the Eygyptians especially Cleopartra as part of her beauty routine in her famous honey & milk baths. Since honey is a natural humectant it draws moisture from the air and "seals" it into the skin thus making it a huge favarouite ingredient in alot of cosmetics. Honey is also a natural anti-bacterial that can be used for scrapes, cuts and wounds & contains Vit A that is necessary for normal cell development. Primitive people new & used its antiseptic & wound healing properties.
All of our cosmetics contains either pure Western Cape Honey or pure Beeswax.
